The Oub Kham Museum is a hidden gem showcasing the cultural heritage of the Lanna Kingdom and the Tai people. Founded by Julasak Suriyachai, a descendant of the Lanna dynasty, the museum’s name refers to the golden bowls once used by kings to serve food to monks. Inside, you’ll find royal artifacts, ancient textiles, and ornate silverware, including a rare golden throne believed to have belonged to a Tai Yai king.
Little-Known Fact: The museum's most prized artifact is an ancient “spirit catcher” used in rituals to protect kings from evil forces. Legend has it, anyone who touches it without permission will be cursed with bad luck!
