5:00–5:30 AM – Hotel Pickup in Chiang Rai: Early morning pickup from your hotel in Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong. 7:30 AM – Thai Border Immigration: Complete immigration procedures at the Thai border. 8:00 AM – Cross to Laos: Cross into Laos by bus. Our team will assist you with the visa on arrival process. 8:30 AM – Arrival at Huay Xai Office: Stop at our office to buy SIM cards, snacks, or exchange money. Enjoy a complimentary lunch box with vegetarian options available. 9:00 AM – Depart for the Pier: Transfer to the slow boat pier and board your boat. 10:00 AM – Departure from Huay Xai: Begin your scenic cruise down the Mekong River, passing stunning landscapes and riverside villages. 4:00–5:00 PM – Arrival in Pakbeng: Disembark at Pakbeng and stay overnight (accommodation not included).
